You'd better write it down
So says T, when I mention each new idea to him. This is a creative year for us (at least that's we affirm to one another lately). Here goes, in no particular order:
All white log cabin (color centers a la this)

Housetops quilt
Eddie cap
The boy's fall jacket (oops)
Stash & Dash fun

Mary Jane baby shoes
Town play mat for the boy
New splat mat design
Chalk cloth mats for birthdays
Birthday banner for two year old birthday
Checkers board
Ornaments for Christmas swap
Box bags
New couch pillows
Recover rocking chair & stool
"Dollhouse" with Peltex/Timtex
Mini quilts
Felted bag
Felted mittens
Barcelona overlay apron
Tie One On little girl polka dot apron
New bag
Yo-yo shower curtain
Bird mobile
Chickens
New stroller cover
New kitchen towels for us
New oven mitts for us
There's more... It keeps coming to me as I try to sleep and such. I haven't even looked at the fabric yet, to remember! Big list! Any bets on completion rates? I'm thinking this is all a bit much, but then I did a little 2007 mosaic of just my favorites and I think I could totally sew this all up. Tomorrow. And then I realize I've had too much coffee, I'm probably at a little energy peak which will dip dangerously... Uh... now. Yep.

I have a list too! Not sure if I'm brave enough to publish it (oh, the commitment!) and it is behind your's in complexity (me the newbie, only having sewn since the fall and all) but I have a list, and vow to start on it soon! That zig zag quilt is absolutely stunning - I wonder if that would be biting off a bit much, or totally doable?

Oooh, I love your 2007 mosaic.
Yes, your list sounds a little too long to be worked through on one lone cup of coffee! But I do love the things on your list, especially the white cabin quilt.
I may go and write my own down now as it's exhausting trying to hold it all in my head! x

I am so glad to know I am not the only one with a toddler and craft to-do list that is wayyyy too long!
Here's to hoping we both get a lot done this year!

Oooh, the timtex dollhouse, yo-yo shower curtain and all white log cabin...those sound fun! I like coffee, too. Any time you feel like talking craft to-do lists we could go for a cup.

Oh yeah. The zig-zag quilt is what started my brain bubbling over all of the stuff that I'd like to try this year. Two days later, I have the feeling I've forgotten half of it. Time to bust out the sketch book and scribble the rest down before it's sucked into the vacuum that used to be part of my brain which housed my memory!

Love your list...mine had 2 things on it. then the caffeine HIT. Things get added after every coffee...! After I get started(not finished) on knitting a sock my thing to do AND finish will be a town mat for my little boy. Do you have a plan for yours? I think i need another coffee thinking about that one!
